Legendary University of Iowa  String Faculty Members from the past include double bassist Diana Gannett, violinist Don Haines, cellist Joel Krosnik (Juilliard Sring Quartet), violinist Leopold LaFosse, double bassist Eldon Obrecht, violinist Allen Ohmes, violist William Preucil, violinist Charles Treger, and cellist Charles Wendt.

THE **NEW** UNIVERSITY OF IOWA VOXMAN SCHOOL OF MUSIC BUILDING (FEATURED IN THE PHOTO HEADER ABOVE) WILL BE COMPLETED IN THE SUMMER OF 2016  AND IT WILL BE READY FOR THE FALL SEMESTER OF 2016!!!!
