UNDERGRADUATE Degrees, Applications, and Auditions at the University of Iowa and University of Iowa School of Music

​The UI School of Music offers a Bachelor of Music, a Bachelor of Arts, and a minor in music. The B.M. program offers concentration in performance, music therapy, and composition; a second emphasis in jazz studies may be added to a performance concentration. Professional certifications in music education and music therapy are available only through the B.M.

UNDERGRADUATE Application/Audition Process

Please see the Audition Dates listed in the next column. If you have a scheduling conflict, please communicate with me and know we can accommodate you and your family with an another audition date/time. It is highly recommended to audition before February 15th.
